Job Title: Deputy Manager - Human Resources

Department: Performance Materials Business Unit (PMBU)
Location: Mithapur, Gujarat

Job Summary:

We are searching for a driven and passionate HR professional to join our team at Tata Chemicals, Mithapur. As the Deputy Manager - HR, you will play a pivotal role in driving forward-looking people practices and fostering a high-engagement, open, and transparent work environment within the PMBU.


Responsibilities:

 * Manage the entire employee lifecycle for the PMBU, from onboarding to separation.

 * Lead campus hiring initiatives for Graduate and Diploma Engineers.

 * Oversee the candidate selection process, including interviewing, job offers, background checks, and onboarding details.

 * Develop and implement strategies to effectively onboard and integrate new hires into the company culture, policies, and processes.

 * Partner with line managers to identify and address employee performance concerns continuously.

 * Champion staff wellness initiatives.

 * Maintain and manage employee lifecycle data within Oracle HCM.

 * Collaborate with functional heads to conduct training needs analysis and develop a comprehensive training plan for the site.

 * Design and deliver functional training programs for the PMBU.

 * Participate in scheduling, monitoring, and evaluating the effectiveness of training programs.

 * Facilitate competency mapping for the PMBU.

 * Oversee the implementation of HR programs and policies, including induction, training, transfers, confirmations, appraisals, and policy clarification.

 * Spearhead initiatives to enhance employee engagement, capability building, and well-being.

 * Ensure adherence to all statutory labor compliances for office and factory operations at the Plant.
