Engineer Instrumentation 

 

POSITION PURPOSE:

 

An Instrument Engineer is responsible for the design, development, installation, and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems used in manufacturing and other industrial settings. These systems monitor and control engineering processes to ensure efficient and safe operations. The key responsibilities and qualifications for an Instrument Engineer typically include:

The Instrument engineer is responsible for uninterrupted and efficient operation of Formulation, filling and packing equipment’s.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design and Development

Design and develop new control systems and instrumentation.

Create detailed design specifications and data sheets for instrumentation.

Develop and implement software for control systems.

Installation and Commissioning

Plan and oversee the installation of instrumentation and control systems.

Commission new systems and ensure they operate correctly and efficiently.

Conduct site surveys and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Maintenance and Troubleshooting

Perform routine maintenance and calibration of instruments and control systems.

 

Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with existing instrumentation.

Ensure minimal downtime by promptly addressing system failures.

Project Management

Manage projects from conception through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.

Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, suppliers, and contractors.

Prepare and manage project documentation, including manuals and reports.

Compliance and Standards

Ensure all instrumentation and control systems comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Stay updated with the latest technological advancements and integrate them into existing systems.

Training and Support

Provide technical support and training to plant operators and maintenance personnel.

Develop training materials and conduct workshops on the use and maintenance of instrumentation systems.
