Job Description of Operation SOE:
1. Assist Control Room Engineer & Shift Manager in safe operation.
2. Coordinate field operational functions as well as responding to plant emergency.
3. Perform work in strict compliance with the companys EHS rules & Operation procedures.
4. Implement IMS policies and Procedure in operation area.
5. Should be well conversant with Permit To Work procedures. Adequate knowledge on installations like Gas Turbine, Boiler/HRSG, Generator, steam turbine, compressors, pumps, valves etc.
6. Monitoring of plant equipment, system, and operational area from field.
7. Plant Field Operations including black box systems, monitoring, recording, and reporting abnormalities by conducting periodic walk-through.
8. Isolation/Normalisation of Low voltage electrical system and support High Voltage system to Shift Manager
9. Documenting plant operating data and identification of deviation / abnormalities and advice Control Room Engineer of any problems requiring immediate corrective actions.
10. Responding to alarms / emergencies by reporting to Control Room Engineer or Shift Manager and taking appropriate actions as required.
