Job Description
Role and Responsibilities :
Gathering data on plant performance for monthly/quarterly/annual reporting to GPCB/CPCB/MoEF
Arranging annual statutory Environment audits
Analysis of Environment performance on daily/weekly/monthly basis and reporting to Apex Env Committee, driving improvements on the basis of these observations
Keeping all Env consents and approvals current, gap analysis, driving projects based on these gaps
Keeping updated information on changes in Environment laws/rules and advising management on new requirements
Supporting ISO 14000 MR for system management
HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT
Responsible for training new joinees and other staff on Env matters
OTHERS
Assisting ISO 14000 MR on system management
Assisting EMS lab staff on acquiring new analysis methods knowledge.
Assisting operation personnel in understanding emerging Env laws and changes required in operation
Preferred Skills :
Good communication skills
Good interpersonal skills
Good presentation skills
Computer literacy
Qualifications and Education Requirements: B.Tech / M.Tech in Environment Engineering
Experience: 3 to 8 Years’ experience in a large Chemical Industry handling similar function
